The school's email service is Google Mail and is managed by the IT Support Team. When starting at Cherwell, you will be assigned a Google account which will give you access to this, as well as many other Google services including Drive, Docs, etc..
How to access email - Computer
Using the email address and password generated for you, you'll be able to login to the Google Mail web client from any computer. We recommend using Google Chrome as your browser and logging into it using your Google Account. By doing this, you will see our pre-defined bookmarks which will give you fast access to email.
If you're using a personal device, we recommend setting up a new profile in your Chrome browser specifically for your Cherwell Google account. This will ensure that Google does not try to access School services using your personal account, which could result in access issues. You can learn about adding profiles here.
How to access email - Mobile Device
We recommend downloading the Google Mail app from your device's app store. This will allow you to access the full feature set of your mailbox. Once you've downloaded and launched the app, you'll be prompted to login using your Google Account.
