North Hall A/V Equipment

During the summer break we overhauled and replaced all of the North Hall A/V equipment. Its all setup ready to use however should you come across a couple of issues, here are some common fixes.

Connecting your device to access the sound system

Connect your device to the docking station using the USB-c audio output as shown.  The system is ready to go and set to the school’s proper volume and usage requirements.  Please do not attempt to adjust the sound via the AV box.  Adjust the sound on your own device!

Microphones

We have two wireless microphones that can be used.

The Site Assistant on duty can unlock the microphones for you and provide extra batteries should you need them.

To turn the microphones on, hold the white button on the bottom until it turns green (see picture on the left). The microphone is initially muted.

To use, slide the switch under the small screen to the green setting. This unmutes the microphone (in the picture on the right, the left mic is still muted but the right one is now on and in use.)

Please make sure that you always turn both the top and the bottom buttons OFF when you are finished using the microphones, or the batteries will drain too quickly.
